Becoming a Full-Time Freelancer

Last month I moved on from my 7-5 job as a logistics sales professional to pursue my freelance dream with more freedom.

This is a big move for me and definitely a challenging one considering the events currently afflicting the world, however I am a firm believer in stoicism and the adage, “this too shall pass”.

If we keep waiting for the right time to do things, we will never get anything done. That’s why I believe now, in the middle of a bad and worsening economy, now is as good of a time as ever to change course and chart my own.

I plan to update this space regularly with updates on my progress, and my goals are outlined below:

• Form a marketing and sales outreach plan
• Grow my client base using this plan to reach a sustainable MRR
• Find a flexible part time job or gig to pay the bills in the meantime

I believe this is a window of opportunity to break out of the box and achieve some autonomy.
